Brrr so cold!

On Tuesday morning Room 4 braved the cold to go out and see the amazing frost! Afterwards we wrote some fabulous descriptive stories about it. Check them out in the classroom.

We love our mums!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums for last weekend! We wrote some lovely stories to describe our mums in Room 4. Here are some of them ... the rest are on display in our classroom!

GetWise

Today Callum from ASB came to visit us. He was actually a super hero called Captain Cash! Captain Cash talked to us about types of money, our needs and wants and where to save our money. We really enjoyed his visit!

Special Visitor

Today at school we were very lucky to have Stevi and her guide dog Halo come to visit us. Stevi used to be a Hinni kid! She showed us the harness Halo uses, her cane and the special coat Halo wears. We also learned all about Halo and that his favourite food is carrots! We loved having them visit us.

Swimming like a Fish!

We love going swimming in Room 4 and are like fish in the pool. We have been practising kicking on our tummies and our backs as well as breathing when doing freestyle. It has been great to see everyone giving things a go and trying to improve every day when we go in the pool.

Life Education

Last week we had Harold and the Life Education van visit our school. He taught us about KINDNESS and being FRIENDLY to others. He also said that it's good to be BRAVE when things are new or a bit scary. We really enjoyed meeting Harold!
