Autumn Fun

This week in Kauri we went outside to have fun in all the autumn leaves. We looked at all the amazing colours and listened to the sounds the leaves made when we scrunched them. We also watched them moving around and picked them up to see how they felt. Kauri have written some awesome descriptive poems about the autumn leaves which are in our class!

Gumboot Day!

This Friday it was Gumboot Day! We had fun wearing our gumboots to school and showing everyone. We also talked about how it was important to talk about how we are feeling and always be kind to other people.

This week we took our class photo for the blog beside the Kauri tree outside. It is so tall it couldn't even all fit in the photo!

We also took a silly photo!

Lego Challenge

On Friday Room 4 had a Lego Challenge. Each table group was given some Lego and had to create something together with all the pieces. We learned the importance of teamwork, to listen and respect each other's ideas and have lots of patience. It was heaps of fun being creative and working together as a team!

Washing Day!

In the holidays Spot, Coco and Mr Fluff went home with Miss Whaley to have a good wash! They really enjoyed getting spun around in the washing machine and then hanging on the line in the sun. All the toys are looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday!
